A 4-color dice is a die that uses four colors instead of the usual six. This roller starts with red, blue, yellow, and green as a classic team setup, and each color has an equal chance of landing on top.
What are the odds on a 4-color die?+
With four colors, every color has a 1-in-4 chance on each roll, exactly 25%. Roll many dice and the colors even out toward a quarter each.

When should I use four colors instead of three or six?+
Use four colors when your activity has four teams, four stations, four categories, or four answers. Use a 3-color dice for simpler choices and a 6-sided color dice when you need more variety.
Can I use it to pick Ludo colors?+
Yes. The default red, blue, yellow, and green are the same four colors as a Ludo or Parcheesi board. Roll once for each player to assign a color, and roll again to settle who goes first. For the moves themselves, switch the Faces toggle to Numbers or Pips and roll the die as a normal 1-to-6.
